Thank you to SOPB, SOP Foundation and the Healthy Strides Foundation (Perth, Western Australia)
From the beginnings of Therapists Abroad and the Get Equip'd program, to the establishment of the Healthy Strides Foundation in Perth, Western Australia - it has been a goal for the team to bring a world class therapy service to Miri Malaysia and with the support of SOP Foundation and the Australian based team at Healthy Strides, it is now a reality!
We are a lean organisation – we use our resources and time in the most efficient way possible, helping our dollar and time to go further so that we can spend our valuable time providing evidence-based interventions for the children that come through our doors.
With this in mind, we are also very mindful of the impact that interventions have on families that already have so much to think about. This is the reason why our core value is in the provision of evidence-based interventions.
Evidenced based practice is the “conscientious, explicit, judicious and reasonable use of current best evidence in clinical decision making”.
Services should be evidence-based. Providing the best results, with the very latest in scientific knowledge and expertise.
